Jan Noble takes over our walls from June to September 2015 with his interactive poetry exhibition Mumblefruit. These words are not for the faint of heart, and contain some rather adult language from time to time.
Mumblefruit
Jan Noble is a writer and a poet. Justine Armatage is a composer and a performer. They first worked together with the Cesarians whose eponymous debut album was recorded at Abbey Road by Craig Leon.
This exhibition of six audiotexts marks the halfway point in a new collaboration that precedes their debut album. It also marks a return to The Beaucatcher Salon, where among the bottles and potions, in-between the sinks and rinses, voices call, lines are thrown and music rises in the waves.
