Beaucatcher will be starting our annual Message In A Bauble gift drive for Solace Women’s Aid very soon.
Please think about Solace when you are doing your holiday shopping. We are looking for new, unwrapped gifts for women or children. These go to families in our area in the care of Solace, who are victims of domestic violence. Often the women must flee their homes taking nothing and so there isn’t much for celebrating. Imagine if going shopping for your children was a life-threatening situation. Our gifts help Solace provide a Christmas meal and a little joy to those who really need it.
Gifts may include: holiday foods, toys, women’s toiletries, baby supplies, early years toys or anything else you think might brighten the day of a woman or child. The facilitators also appreciate wrapping supplies, but all gifts must be new and unwrapped. Little notes of inspiration are welcomed.
In exchange for your gift, Beaucatcher will give you a bauble to open from our tree which contains a prize voucher. There are discounts for services and products as well as free services to be won.
Each year we are so impressed with the generosity of our clients. After all, any of us can wind up needing a hand — so it’s a wonderful thing to be able to offer one.
