Jayne Fisher is a London-based artist who trained in painting, drawing and printmaking in the 1980s.
Her work, presented in this retrospective selection, is concerned with form, colour and light in everyday objects, and natural subject matter. Her particular focus on life drawing is rooted in an interest in how the human physical form conveys emotion, utilising printmaking techniques.
Her early work reflects a lifelong connection to politics, art and art history and commitment to social justice and equality – you can see her work at Instagram.
Jayne’s artwork will be in the salon from 16 June 2023. There will be a private view celebration later in the summer, date tbc.
