In local news, the Family Music Day is coming up on 20 October:
You know that violin that’s tucked away under the stairs? Where’s that dusty flute? The one you used to play in school?
Family music day is just that: a day of music making for the whole family. It’s for all children that are learning an instrument, and all of their parents who’ve forgotten how much they once enjoyed playing music! For all abillities and ages!
Maybe you once played piano, but fancy playing percussion in the orchestra, or singing in the choir? It’s a chance to remind yourself why you’re so eager for your child to learn that cello! And to remember, that actually, even though you may think you’re no good at playing or singing any more, it just doesn’t matter! It really IS just about participating!
