For our next art installation, ART FOR LOVE, Beaucatcher has invited local artists to submit work to be exhibited in the salon and put on sale to raise money for World Central Kitchens. Times are heartbreaking the world over with wars and natural disasters causing unimaginable suffering which is impossible to ignore. Beaucatcher wants to try to use our space to raise money for WCK who are on the ground feeding and helping in many places all the time. From Gaza to Ukraine, Chilé and beyond, WCK immediately prepares and serves fresh nourishing meals to communities impacted by natural disasters and during humanitarian crises.
From today we have works by Tania Salmen, Lydia Thornley, Sofia Ausburger Salmen and Enriqueta Ahresburg. For the last 20 years, Beaucatcher has provided space for local artists to exhibit and sell their work free of charge, and this exhibition is the same – all proceeds stay with the artists and they will be donating a percentage (between 30-100 per cent) of the sale price to WCK. Please do come by to have a look and consider an art investment which will also be helping WCK at such a critical time.
If you are an artist who would like to participate, please feel free to get in touch.
