We are looking for two Senior Hair Stylists to join our very special salon. Positions available are for 4-5 days per week each. Pay is commission based.
The applicants must be proficient in cutting and colouring, be willing to learn and adapt as well as to share knowledge. We are open seven days each week and we have a variable clientèle so flexibility and creativity are essential. Ours are long-term clients, so an ability to develop and keep good client relations is of the utmost importance. We have regular sessions of education and brain-storming from within and without the salon and expect everyone to participate. We would be very happy to speak to stylists with an existing clientèle.
Our salon is very active in our community; we are involved in local art and music events as well as celebrations of our fantastic neighbourhood. Most importantly we prefer candidates who are interested in working together within our team as well as those able to be independent and take initiative. We will welcome stylists with ideas and questions and provide support and a wonderful work environment.
Our techniques are traditional when called for, and more creative when tradition does not satisfy.
Applicants must have all necessary documentation for legal work in the UK, all necessary certifications for hairdressing and at least three years post-training experience. References are checked.
